Biography
Dr. Caprice Knapp is a health economist and health services researcher. She studied at the University of Florida. For the past 10 years she has worked in the palliative care community. She has actively been engaged in research, teaching, and advocacy. She has published numerous peer-review articles on children's palliative care. Specifically she works on models of care, outcomes of care, and decision making. She has taught at all levels of the University and more than 450 nurses and social workers. She co-authored a book with Dr. Susan Fowler-Kerry (U. of Saskatchewan) on Pediatric Palliative Care: Global Perspectives.
